The Barcelona Pipa Club founded in 1980 is a non profit association which now has about 400 members, (men and women of all ages and professions) It's a pipe smokers' club and you'll get a warm welcome: there's room for everyone and it's easy to find something to your liking - friendship, conversation, drinks, live jazz, gastronomic sampling or a superb meal - part of life's small pleasures and the club's philosophy. Come and visit the premises - doors open at 6.p.m.

EVENINGS OF TALK AND LEISURE:
It's one of the busiest clubs in town, and in the early evening the club is rather British in style, the hours are whiled away sitting around talking smoking pipes - or in the many cultural activities that take place, gastronomy and leisure figuring high on the list of favourites. Different sections have been created to cater to different interests: The gastronomic section organizes gourmet sampling and monthly dinners, the photographic one organizes outings and even has its own laboratory. Havana fans have their cigar section, while there's also a literary one that organizes talks with writers, another section is in charge of monthly chats, conferences and cine-forums with guest speakers, and yet another is dedicated to "button-football" championships (buttons are used to make up complete soccer teams that play on a "field" against one another).
Pipe smoking courses are programmed regularly and open to everyone interested in learning the art. Snooker, darts and chess are another alternative open to members. The club promotes painting and photography and exhibitions are held throughout the year. Sherlock Holmes addicts hold their monthly encounter in the club, whilst many lawyers, doctors, journalists, etc. do the same, using the club as a rendezvous. JAZZ AND DRINK: The Barcelona Pipa club is unic, different and exclusive for a night on the town - enjoy dining in a cosy atmosphere in winter and a cool one in summer. Drinks can be had till the early hours of the morning while listening to the best live jazz concerts in town . It's so special - you won't easily find another place like this in Barcelona.

SMOKER OR NON SMOKER? You can probably find hundreds of reasons for yourself. PARTY, It's easy to organize a special event in the Barcelona Pipa Club, even if you are not a member. The different rooms can be used for a private party, a reunion, launching a product, a press conference, a meal or dinner. We have specialized personnel and a lot of experience too.

Book presentations; Company conventions for clients and salesmen; Coctails, lunch and business meetings; Presentation of Jean Leon and Mont Marçal wines; Presentation of imported French champagne and pâtés; Presentation of whiskies as well as pipe tabaccos: Borkum Riff, Clan, Mac Baren, Dunhill, Sony Music Spain etc. etc.
